Hi Hoff123, that is the sound of adventure, for sure !
Still it sounds a bit "raw", have you considered using some convolution reverb (hall type) to add presence to the strings ? I bet it would sound much better !

Yeah, the samples are straight from SSO and not edited in anyway(no effects either) so I get what you mean :). Thank you for the tip.

New Song!

Hi! I didn't want to start another topic just because of this, so I just put it here instead.

This time I used some reverb, and it sounds at least a little cooler :). Maybe a little bit dark and muddy though...

Strings don't stand out that well as the drums can be quite overpowering. The melody does not seem to be "in-your-face" center including the contrabass. Maybe it's due to a phase inversion (like the right channel being out-of-phase with the left channel)? I really think the bass (not the drum) and melody will need to stand out.

Otherwise, good job. :)

Music Interest: New Age w/ a mix of modern smooth jazz, light techno/trance & downtempo -- something Epcot Future World/Tomorrowland-flavored.
