fsthost and wine 1.5

I'd like to install fsthost but it wants to install wine 1.5 and remove wine 1.4. Is this likely to hose my system (KxStudio 12.04.2 x64)?
Festige is working for me, but I think fsthost would be better. I could use it with command line arguments in nsm-proxy. Vsthost works for one of my VSTi's but not the other.
And while I'm askin' stuff... I tried to build samplv1 so I could get the standalone version (again for nsm) but it wants a newer version of QT. Are we likely to get this with 12.04.3?

wine1.4 is already the newest version.
wine1.4 set to manually installed.
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have

Code: Select all
carla-single native lv2 ignored http://samplv1.sourceforge.net/lv2
(saves with SIGUSR1 signal)
Great. I'll try that out.

Probably tomorrow will be ready
Cool. I tried out 'carla-single' and it works great. Thanks.
