Another DAW newbie here

Greetings All,
I've been a Linux users for years; and a DJ for even longer.
I've been fortunate to convert (almost) everything related to my DJ studio to Linux (file servers, recording, etc..)
Now my next quest is to set up my first DAW machine and learn something new.
I would like to ultimately produce my own tracks and remixes.
I have an available desktop with 120Gig Drive and 4GB of RAM as a starting platform.
