Hi. I have two firewire interfaces (a M-Audio Firewire Solo and a Focusrite Saffire LE). They both work ok (especially the Saffire), but: I can't hear nothing from the headphones connected to the interfaces. I tried all the possibilities of connection with jack, especially with the Saffire which has ffado-mixer and in which the headphones are clearly assigned to outputs 3 and 4.
Any help?

Firewire not outputing from headphones
Professional classical saxophone player from Portugal. Using Linux (mostly Kubuntu) since late 2011. Linux has replaced the "holy" Mac OS in my life.

Re: Firewire not outputing from headphones
With my Echo Audiofire2, I have to set this up using the Echo drivers in Windows. The FFADO mixer will control levels, but it does not have the facility to control the routing, which Echo's own program does.
Different device ... but might be similar with yours?
Oh... your Saffire FFADO mixer does do this. Sorry missed that. Anyway, if you can, I'd still suggest testing with the vendor's drivers on a W machine. Not very purist, I know, but might be pragmatic.
