AD for the drums, ardour for recording, rosegarden for MIDI, and Jamin for mastering (the grey-green window I open a bit before the end of the video.

Just my digital camera, dumped the avi to my laptop and loaded it in youtube. I already made a "video" using 'wink' but it only renders in swf (flash format version 7). You cannot upload that in youtube.

I wish I could, I agree with you mostly. I don't like youtube very much, in fact, I think it sucks a bit and I never spend my time on it (like other trendy websites like facebook, etc, pure waste of time). I did this because youtube enjoys a lot of viewers and because I wanted to prove the AD guys that linux was worth it (I posted the link on their forum). OK, could have been a better video ...
