Qjadeo disappeared...

Hi everyone !

So this had to happen : after two years of good and steady service... I'm encountering my first problem on KXstudio

I write music for movies/images, so I work a lot with Xjadeo, it's an essential part of my everyday routine... But the last update kinda broke it : qjadeo disappeared, and launching xjadeo in command line isn't doing much good : the videos run much slower than normal (no syncing possible !) and the terminal goes crazy with "Read errors".
It was working perfectly fine last week.

I tried to remove xjadeo, but for some reason it wants to remove ardour3 and the kxstudio video metapackage as weel... which I obviously need ! Trying to reinstall it from the ppa didn't do anything, and trying to install the packages from sources returns a "JACK not found" error. I'm lost and in a bit of a panic I'll admit, I have some work to deliver tomorrow and really need a working Xjadeo to finish it...

So, how do i fix this ? Is it the latest Xjadeo update that somehow removed Qjadeo ? Is there an alternative (another jack-synched video player) ?
Thanks a lot for the answers !

(may I add a bit about how great KXStudio is ? If I may : awesome job !)

Well, thanks for solving this so fast ! Xjadeo is one of the reasons I'm using linux for work, didn't want to see it go away.
