Maya 44 squealing

Hello everyone!
I'm having a problem with my sound card, it's an ESI Maya 44 PCI, and every time I play music there's this high pitch squeal coming out of the card itself.
This squeal starts when I hit the play button of any music player on my system. When I stop all sounds the squeal stops and it's not coming through my speakers, it's from the card itself.

This is happening a log time ago (maybe 8 months now). The card was working perfectly with no squeals when suddenly this problem started. Doing some research I started messing up with BIOS CPU power options. At the moment, disabling suspend mode got the squeal to stop.
But 6 months ago I upgraded my computer (Only kept the HDD and the Maya 44) and the squealing came back to stay . Now, the BIOS settings didn't make a thing about this issue.

Anyways, I removed the Maya 44 to do some test and the squeal was not present, so by this I assume that that noise is coming from bad caps in my Maya 44  or something related directly to the sound card (no CPU nor PSU).

I don't know if the upgraded mobo has something to do with this, as I read that new intel mobos have "emulated pci bridge", my previous mobo certainly didn't have this emulated thing.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
If this is something related to the new mobo, then if I get a new PCI sound card this high pitch squeal would still be present?

I leave my system specs below:
Debian 7 (stable now!)
PSU: thermaltake 500w
Intel i5 2.9 ghz CPU
Nvidia GT440 video card
Mobo: Gygabyte P61-USB3-B3

Thanks in advance!
