Fresh, first take recordings!

I recorded this song earlier, It's a song that I have been working on.

I red lined a few times but it's a single take. I just wanted to have something to post to the forum.

What mics are you using and do you have a breakout box?

I am using an MXL 990. I don't have a breakout box. not sure what it is.

No I run it through a mixer. And then use an RCA to stereo mini jack to run it direct to my tablet pc.

All my tracks are belong to Autumn Street records. And the lyrics aren't really complete yet. But when it's finished they'll all be on my website!

Another first take recording using my G tuned pvc didgeridoo and my 26inch saw and my guitar in Audacity using ladspa to pluggins.

I think you should start with just guitar and then do a 'improvisation/solo part' with the didgeridoo (or start only with the didg.). Another suggestion is to play chords which have a higher note... it doesn't always match good enough between the didgeridoo and the guitar in my opinion.

I like the last part of the song :)

I've never recorded with the didgeridoo or the saw before. It was really weird sounding. I'm still trying to decide if I like them. Anywho, I agree with your suggestions. This was just some mess recording that I made late last night and thought that I would share because of it's overall irritating qualities with the in and out of the saw and hissing sound and it's just terrible. But thank you for the compliment on the last part.
