só, i am saving some money, but money is really a problem for me at the moment.

I have a AC97 onboard-chip and a small mic (ecm-ds70p)
so what i want in near future is a decent audio-card/interface and a better mic - but my budget is verry small.

i don't need an audiomixer and only one stereo i/o

só, or i need a soundcard, a condensermic and a mic-preamp
OR, perhaps cheeper, a soundcard with XLR-input and phantom-power

i live here in Brazil, só i have less choice here.

what is to prefer:
a solution with xlr and phantom-power like "Roland Edirol Ua-4fx" or "M-audio Fast Track Pro" 1010lt
OR a solution like Audiophile 2496 with extra pre-amp like "Pre Amplificador Mic100"??
or any other (low-price)sugestions?

is the Behringer C1 a mic that gives some good sound for the cheap price or is it waste of money?
