It'd be nice to be able to play YouTube videos while doodling along though the realtime Jack stack.
I tried libflashsupport-jack. It sort of works, but sound skips a bit and firefox becomes very unstable (seems like memory corruption to me).
Also, it's a bit inconvenient that you need to start firefox with those libs to use flash with jack, but you also have to remove them when jack is not running (as using flash audio with those libs but without having jack running will make firefox crash).
All in all i'd say this attempt failed, though it seems kind of promising if it could be finished.
I also read about using a flash->pulseaudio->jack->alsa chain, might try that next. What are your experiences?

Re: Flash & jack
Unfortunately ubuntu doesn't carry pulseaudio-module-jack, so i had to jump though some hoops. Now it works quite nicelyraboof wrote:I also read about using a flash->pulseaudio->jack->alsa chain, might try that next
