Snackin' On Utensils

Kitchen-recorded percussion samples again, this time strictly using utensils only. All the percs are self-recorded in my kitchen (even the kicks), chopped up and produced using Audacity, Ardour, some LV2/LADSPA plugins, and JAMin. Percs were then loaded into Hydrogen, sequenced into patterns and recorded in Ardour3, where everything else was recorded, mixed down and mastered using JAMin. Synths used in this track: Yoshimi, Phasex, Xsynth, Sineshaper. I really really wanted to use TAL Noisemaker, but it crashes almost immediately everytime I try to play notes or manipulate controls on it. I hope it works someday.

Ahahaha! Thanks Banana. I will release a full length album called "Cooking The Kitchen" this year, probably in the summer. The album will include many of my tracks themed on cooking, with percussion recorded in my kitchen. It's been a fun project. Right now i'm working on a track involving lots of seasoning and sauces in the percussion.
