Filter Experimentation
Would it be easy to write software that outputs a relatively slow sine sweep, which you put though a filter, then you put the output back into the program, which makes a bode plot from the audio? I know that noise and a spectrometer works too, but that isn't quite as accurate as a sine wave sweeping though the audible spectrum.

Look into qloud http://gaydenko.com/qloud/. Its simple to use and does pretty much exactly what you are saying except I don't think it measures the phase. There are others I think too.
