Cracking audio on lmms in Ubuntu Studio

Hello everyone

I'm new to Ubuntu Studio but not to linux or ubuntu I know the basics of it. And I have to say I really like Ubuntu Studio it can really do a lot of stuff and it's free, so I don't have to pirate anymore . But to get to the point I have this problem when I'm on LMMS and my processor goes high my sound starts cracking, glitching and stuttering. And when the processor is low again it still cracks. Sometimes I even have to reboot my computer to get my sound back.

Is there something wrong with my drivers, the software or is it because I'm working on a craptop? It's a cheap compaq presario CQ56.

Okay so now I had it when starting up the program without a spike in processor use. Really fucking annoying

Edit: Now I have it every time when I load up my song. I have to mute the synthesizers, save, load another song, load the first song again and unmute. Then I can work a little bit and it starts again I want to throw my computer through my window!!
