Not really a true statement. Yes you may end up with some packages you don't need, but it gives you an oppurtunity to learn the Arch way of doing things, pacman, AUR, etc. It's a good starting point a linux noob. I tried building Arch 6 times before I got it right, and even then I thoroughly enjoyed Cinnarch more than what I built myself, but that's just me.db50xg wrote:If you start your Arch adventure with a premade ISO like cinnarch, bridge etc you dont really learn the Arch the way it is supposed to be learned.
