Meerkats in Love
This my second song created using Ardour. I threw it together yesterday. Any comments are appreciated. One of my buddies told me it was pretty blah. Oh well.

Thanks MatÃasMac. I can't claim to have done much in terms of ambient type music in the past. My tendency is to create music that is high strung and inspired more than anything else by my own stress. I'd like to try to release an album which moves away from this tendency and focuses on warm and calming sounds. I don't know if I'll be able to hold myself to that goal. If anything, I want to move in a different direction rather than rehashing the past.

I have a whole slew of jazzy pieces on the back-burner that make you want to watch the local Doppler for hours on end. I'm not going to give up on them, but I'd like to try out making the type of music that sells for 19.95 at the local pharmacy with whale noises in the background.
I feel ridiculous.

Thanks.
-Yamaha CP33 is in charge of the "natural" sounds
-MicroKorg is in charge of the synthy stuff.
I went against my word already and made very jazzy piece yesterday
