Hi folks! My name is Jesse, but you probably figured that out. I make instrumental music, usually with jazzy undertones and way too much layering. I've been at this home recording stuff for quite some time now, but I am relatively new to working with audio in Linux. I have a m-audio delta 44 I swiped off of craigslist and my 3 keyboards (no more tiers!). I also play a mean recorder and can fake it on guitar or bass. I mostly use Ardour on this system.
This is the "official" music I have online. None of it has been made in Linux, but my next album will be (whenever that comes out). Its all free and released under a creative commons. Most importantly it does resemble music.

I'd also someday like to get into some audio programming.
I'm glad you're here too!

Sounds good Jesse!
Welcome! Linux has nice synths imo and also many ways to do audio programming

Thanks!
I was actually talking about the kind of programming that involves compilers. I'm notoriously ignorant of using midi and soft-synths.

I don't see a recorder song of Hot Cross Buns or Star Wars on your website.
