A Couple of EPs

Post by Irwin J. Cespedes »

Hi to all, first, I must apologize myself because I've being out of forum posting these days... Too much mental dissonance after University tests, anyway...

I'm here to present you a couple of works that I produced as "Altiplane" my pseudonym, that you may like. Both are Electronic based projects. One is an Ambient EP called "Destino Belenos" which is like "Reaching for Belenus" in English. It is composed of 4 movements in which I tried to print some nice tetures and atmospheres, with a little bit of piano jamming... An interesting fact is that I managed to create a gapless album by using Ardour's capability of creating *.cue sheets. Another fact is that I used a 25 keys Yamaha Melodica for one track. I uploaded the work in *.wav files and you can download them for free. Hope you like this one. http://altiplane.bandcamp.com/album/destino-belenos-ep

The other EP I produced is a Tech House one named "Alpha & Omega"... It is Tech House for the geek ones... you may understand why when you hear it. It based on sampling, some nice leads, and, I beg you pardon, a mixture of LV2, LADSPA and VSTi using Fl Studio in a Windown machine. sorry about that, But I felt in love with a lovely VST called Solcito... As "Destino Delenos" It is completely free. Hope you like this one, aswell http://altiplane.bandcamp.com/album/alpha-omega-ep

All the works where done using Ardour3 beta4 and beta5, Hydrogen, ZynAddSubFX, AMSynth, QSampler, VMPK, samples from Freesound.org, like twelve liters of coffee and lots of time. Also I mastered both works in JAMin... took a while, but at the end I liked how they got mastered...

Comments, doubts, critics, I am all ears!

Cheers!

Well done Irwin!

I won't comment on the tracks because electronic music is not my cup of tea but I say "Congratulations!" and "Hello!" from Pablo_F @ hispasonic.

No problem about commenting!

Por cierto, hola Pablo_F, hace tiempo estaba pensando si eras el Pablo de Hispasonic. :)
