Oh, sorry, I misunderstood. I think skype has it's own internal audio management that prevent some types of use. However I don't know that for certain. I have used skype for audio collaboration with friends. But not sure I understand what you mean exactly. Sorry I didn't offer much help to this problem.

Re: Multiple headsets, one skype
Try muting your PCM and then creating a new ardour project and import your audio lesson
then create a secondary track and send it to your 1/2 output and mark it for recording
perhaps that would be a place to start, you would have to record your entire session using that method but it may be a good staring place.
---
Another option may be splitting your audio input and using a secondary device to stream your lessons.
---
Are you using text to speech? If that is what you are talking about I think that a secondary device may be most handy.

You didn't understand. I use a book wich has an audio-cd with the texts, wich i pass throug skype. I understand your solution with Ardour, but it complicates it AND ardour needs Jack too.
In fact, i can't even configure skype correctly without jack - i think without jack the latancy of my audio-interface is too big for the program - the input is distorced.
But i will try it again / because i thought of another solution: MIC to input1 - Input 1 to output 1/2 - mplayer to output too - output 1/2 to input 2 - input 2 to skype
what i am doing until now is installing and desinstalling the debian-packages all the time - wich is now really a solution

why the f_ck they took jack-output of the libasound2???? can't understand
