Hi All,
If this is not the right location for this question, X-Q's me... I am looking for software like Dia/Kivio(/Visio) that can be used to design a studio; equipment, cabling and such.
Reason is, I recently bought some extra modules; by now I got quite some Midi and Audio modules, (midi)patchbays in 2 19" racks. I wanna recable everything and made a plan on paper, but that's not really flexible, and I wanna use it as an overview to see which modules/instruments are patched where.
Dia might work, but I'ld need to add objects for every in/output, making the 'overview' quite large :-S
Does anybody use somthing similar?

What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?
