Will that include the LV2 functionality?

Hey falktx,
So I've got the git version.
So far so good.
But, Carla is seeing my windows vsts, but not listing them as a VST. I still get them only as DSSI?
I refreshed just the VST plugins, and it found all my LinuxVST and windows VST. But I only see my linuxvst when I uncheck everything but VST in the add new plugin special filter options.

edit:
I also just noticed the I only installed the carla-git and carla-plugins-lv2.
It appears that the bridges are still:
1.2.2+git20131118
So maybe I'm just impatient :)

So I see the updated bridges, but I get this:

Thats when trying to update wineasio and meet the dependencies required by the bridges

Alrighty so...
I reinstalled KXStudio (using the newest ISO), I've updated and everything is fresh...
Now, the bridges are working, yay!
But...
Carla-Rack crashes Ardour 3.
Straight up seg fault.

Okay, it doesn't crash, but it doesn't load a UI upon double click?

Wil the use of Carla as a plugin host in ardour 3 behave more stable with, as an example addictive drums on a midi track, than ADD on a midi track in a vst build of ardour 3?

Hey falktx,
carla-rack crashes Mixbus the same way it did Ardour3. Would the same command work for Mixbus as well?
I understand if you're not sure. I might have to contact Ben on IRC.

Hi,

just testing the carla-git version in ardour 3,
i get an error message when trying to load ADD on a midi channel : Could not find the requested plugin label in the plugin library
I refreshed the plugins in the standalone version and it opens up fine, i cant refresh them inside ardour.
Any idea on how to fix this error?

No, its a windows VST plugin,
Addictive drums (ADD).
It loadÅ› fine in the standalone version and in carla-rack, except in carla-rack i only have events-in no midi-in?

First I'll start by expressing my gratitude. I always feel like I'm complaining when I report a bug or something.
Major props for these plugin bridges. I suspect they will become the new standard for Linux users wanting to run windows VSTs. You are a fantastic programmer and I couldn't do alot of what I do without the contributions you've made.
Having said that... I'm getting a new crash bug in Ardour 3 (the KX Build with the two QT remove commands you gave me).

Code: Select all

I use some midi sequencers vsts, but I can't send transport to them, so they don't run actually and send no data. Is there a way to start them ?
