Actually this particular user already also found his way to this forum: http://www.linuxmusicians.com/viewtopic ... 699#p30699

Personally I don't really have a clue about samplers though.
Does anyone monitor Linux questions there? We need to encourage the new users who may not have found this site.
Not me - I didn't even know SE has an A/V section. I guess it would be cool if we could show the topics marked 'linux' as a sidebar here or something like that.

Great that they found us.

It's possible to get a feed of the questions tagged with Linux if someone can do something with it http://avp.stackexchange.com/questions/tagged/linux. I really like the SE idea and I followed it's birth through the podcasts that Jeff and Joel used to do. Forums are good for some types of discussion, but when you just need an answer to a question that may be useful to others then a dedicated Q&A site can be better. SE covers all sorts of topics these days, including Linux/Unix and music in general.
