Linux Plugins (LADSPA, DSSI, Vamp, LV2, VST)

Post by khz »

Which native plugins under Linux?
Please collect more plugins you know and like.
Please no wine et-cetera, only native. Everything may be listed here if it is "if "native" >> ack" && "no wine et-cetera" is fulfilled.
Which are your favorites? And why is that?
If possible link your tip/suggestion/recommendation/... .

And a friendly atmosphere. Please collect more plugins you know and like. Gathering.

Thank you.

[X] Yes.

Code: Select all

You@root ~/Feel # free
:-)

Mine are currently "Xhip Synthesizer", "Dexed" and "Discovery". The sound and the good operability (well, DX7 ;-)) of all three synthesizers convinces me.
Hypercyclic helps me to improve my ~talent. ;-) Very musical MIDI.
I find "transient mangler" by Steve Harris well in connection with DrumSynth, for example.

I use zynfusion and Tal Noisemaker most often atm.

Great U-he plugins

Podolski - great analog sounding
Tyrell
Triple Cheese
Zebralette

All for free.

Amsynth, because it's simple and has a raw sound.

Tunefish.

Monoplugs also offers Monique, an excellent softsynth, which is available in native Linux versions, either VST and standalone.

(btw, Monique and B-Step are on sale with 50% off right now)

Hi,

this is Rudolfs from Sonarworks (http://www.sonarworks.com). We develop headhpone/speaker calibaration software, that includes plugins as well. We saw some posts about our plugin on Linux here, on reddit and other forums. Currently we are close to having a 64-bit Linux VST plugin that we will release in beta testing. Is anyone here interrested to try that out?

Just downloaded the whole suite. Looks awesome and I'm gonna try them all out. Looked at some videos but it hard to see how you route everything from the sampler. I use Reaper For Linux and it seems to work great so far. Lot to learn, but I'm getting there eventually

Rock On!
