It makes sense to detect one trigger per instance. 1. Create N busses, where N=number of instruments you want to trigger.
2. Connect inputs of these busses to your drum track.
3. Put on each bus LSP Parametric equalizers.
4. For each equalizer turn on 1 low-pass filter and 1 high-pass filter. Make them aggressive as possible (high slope, LRX mode).
5. Tune each equalizer to pass specific frequency band. For example, for Kick it should be band between 40 and 100 Hz. For snare - between 150 and 300 Hz, etc.
6. Put after each equalizer triggersensor and tune it.
7. Connect MIDI outputs of each triggersensor to the MIDI track.
8. Run all this stuff while recording MIDI notes to the MIDI track.
Maybe this will help but I've never tried to do so.
