I think Mixbus and it's plugins are more a mastering suite, than just a mixer, and from what I've read,funkmuscle wrote: Ardour and Mixbus, what did he get out of that on? Now a program that already runs on Linux but now it comes with a very nice mixer? Again I'm not arguing the fact I am just curious to see if this cross-platform thing is actually benefiting the Linux community.

was to achieve the highest quality of audio recording in the industry, so the partnership with Harrison
seems pretty natural. Hopefully great success for them will occur, regardless of platforms.
There are reports that the audio production side of windows ten has some good improvements,
but the privacy/security issues surrounding it, could bring more musicians to linux.
If 2015 is a decent barometer, 2016 is going to be a great year.
