I'm using Rosegarden working on my own backing track of Enya's "Watermark" which I want to try on guitar. The original has some very well done bass in it but the only midi I found on the net does not. Nor have I seen any sheet music with a separate bass staff. What it does offer is a sort of piano arpeggio track with some very low notes in it that would do ..except for one problem. There are too many notes including high ones and "I" haven't the faintest CLUE how to compose a bass track. How do I decide what to keep & what to throw away?
Temporarily here's the *.rg file
I hope it works

The roses are melodies,
The petals notes,
Cast by The Magician's Selfless hands
To ring briefly
Then freely land
On the luckiest, few and ragged,
Children in the pilgrim audience.

If you're asking how to make the samples that you want that sound like they do in enya? And then sending it to a MIDI controller?
The Nord website has a ton of patches available for download iirc and one of those will probably fit the bill. If not you can create it using something like Yoshimi and modify an existing patch.

I think.... it's about music learning issue. You need to know Chord and basic root note of a chord. Then you can make a nice bass track.miodek1987 wrote:Is there anybody who can help?

Why not try playing along to the original?
Cut out short sections and loop them in (say) audacity, then play a keyboard till it sounds the same. Once you've got it right, record that section in any of the MIDI aware sequencers.
Rinse and repeat.
When you have the whole thing to your satisfaction correct the timing, and there you go
