is there any way to apply a group mute to shuriken? like when you trigger a slice it automatically mutes any other slice that may be playing? that'd be super helpful re: fingerdrumming

Not at the moment - I'll definately put that on the todo list.

Hi,
Wanted to try Shuriken but can't install it on 15.10 kubuntu with kxstudio repos.
The librubberband2 is needed .Looked via Synaptics and I have
"librubberband2v5" package installed but the version is "1.8.1-6ubuntu2".
Any help?
Also the ppa (when writing this post) had an error 404 Not Found . Is it because it looks for 15.10 ?
Sorry for not replying sooner. I've been struggling with RSI and am trying to rest my wrists as much as possible.
Hi!
I see the updated Shuriken Wily packages, Debian Testing is also based on gcc5 now, do you recommend to use the Wily packages or do you plan on Debian gcc5-ready packages in the near future? I ask because as before I'd like to continue with Shuriken in AV Linux and the new AVL will be based on Debian Testing.

Wily is the version I use for the kxstudio gcc5 builds.
(Until it becomes EOL and I have to move to Y-series)
In this case no, as of this writing, because the Shuriken Wily packages want librubberband2v5 and Debian Testing doesn't yet have a 'v5' gcc5 variant of that package... Good news is that the Shuriken Debian Jessie packages install and run fine as of today but that can change in a heartbeat in the high-stakes world of Debian's testing branch..
Great work rockhopper! The new version works and looks terrific!

I see the PKGBUILD for Archlinux has not been moved to AUR4. Do you need someone to take over the PKGBUILD maintenance-related tasks? I could easily do that.

Thanks, I’m on it right away. I’ve retrieved the latest AUR3 PKGBUILD and modified it for the latest version, this is what I currently use to install Shuriken on my system. All I need to do is submit it to AUR.
