Re: [64studio-users] 3.0 beta3 ready for testing
Unfortunately, it is currently impossible to participate though trac, as creating trac accounts is broken (they're working on it...).studio32 wrote:As always, please report bugs here http://trac.64studio.com/64studio/
All in all, my impression of 64studio so far that it seems technically solid, but sort of lacks some of the 'community aspect': the IRC channel is pretty much dead, mailinglist not that active, forums cumbersome to use...
(of course the 'community aspect' isn't equally important to everybody )
Re: [64studio-users] 3.0 beta3 ready for testing
The activity of the mailinglists are comparable with that of Ubuntu Studio. Sometimes quite active, sometimes not...
About the technicall part (mostly packaging and patches) there is also discussion at the Debian Multimedia Team mailinglist.
But you're partly right imo. I think most of the development is done by the team itself two or three people. I think it would be good to let the community do some things too. Like themes, wallpapers etc.
(and of course, the community is here )

Hm you're right, I guess it was a matter of perception rather than actual fact .studio32 wrote:The activity of the mailinglists are comparable with that of Ubuntu Studio. Sometimes quite active, sometimes not...
