Package requests here! (New and updates)

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
The debian kxstudio repos don't include qmidiarp, whose latest version allows for live midi control of tempo changes, and includes lv2 plugins.
Also, could the latest git version of musescore be packaged? I think all the pyqt5 dependencies are already in the repos.
And a final question to falktx... Is there a way I can help you packaging for debian wheezy? I have no experience packaging, so I wouldn't go for dev libs, but I can assist getting plugins and applications compiled...
Thanks!

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
debian has qmidiarp in its' own reposapt-cache policy qmidiarp
qmidiarp:
Installed: 0.6.0-1
Candidate: 0.6.0-1
Version table:
*** 0.6.0-1 0
500 http://mirror.yandex.ru/debian/ sid/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
That's debian sid. Wheezy only has 0.5.2 which doesn't include the lv2 plugins and it's tempo is not realtime modifyablelazyklimm wrote:debian has qmidiarp in its' own reposapt-cache policy qmidiarp

Could you add AMS with NSM support?

I have rev-plugins installed, but no g2reverb.so available, how is that possible???
Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
isn't it better to use ams.lv2 and ingen?studio32 wrote:Could you add AMS with NSM support?

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
ingen is still not as stable as ams, at least on my system.tatch wrote:isn't it better to use ams.lv2 and ingen?studio32 wrote:Could you add AMS with NSM support?

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
AMS has really nice ready to use patches (and it has NSM support if you use the right version)
But I can't use the nice Moog atm, because of the missing g2reverb.so

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
The long-overdue Guitarix package update is not listed on p. 1 here… (I'd really like that ASAP)
Anyway, Nootka is out with v. 1 now, and a fix made just today seems to have it working, should be packaged up please.
Also, the recent v1 set update would be nice.
Thanks!

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
If you update guitarix, you better take it from git instead the latest release.
Git contains already some important bugfixes and impruvments, and some nice new plugs.
Curent git state is absolute stable.

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
I installed these updates this morning and now amsynth doesn't work. When I try to launch it the usual way from the Sound & Video menu, I get "Could not launch 'amsynth' Failed to execute child process "amsynth" (No such file or directory)". If I try to launch it from the terminal, I get "The program 'amsynth' is currently not installed." I tried a re-installation from Synaptic Package Manager but it didn't help. Synaptic tells me that the installed version is 1:1.4.1-1kxstudio1. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and the KXStudio repositories.briandc wrote:amSynth, Alsa Modular Synth and Triceratops all have new releases available!
I assume this will fix itself in the next update. I just wanted to let someone know that the update is breaking existing amsynth installations. I've been using amsynth for quite a while and this has never happened with previous updates.
