utilite pro? ARM for a desktop?

I've looked at a raspberry pi, and cubieboard 2, and it looks like this one might be the option for me. The motherboard that it's supposedly based on is a quad core ARM with a SATA port. So I could use it to do video conversions in the background while I do other things on my regular machine. I'm just curious if anyone else spied this one and is actually getting one?

Aside from the CPU speeds and type, it could possibly outspec my current 7+yo desktop. It's a shame that it's not out yet (that I know of).

They have an even cheaper option with IrDA and eSATA. Same basic board by the looks of it. i.MX6

From what I've heard the Freescale chipsets are not the fastest ones around and there was something about the kernel sources not being complete. But this is an interesting development.

The difference is that wandboard and sabrelite are already shipping with various youtube demos. Most of the beefy quadcores are on back order of course.

It looks like voipac is taking the i.mx6 base and adding pcie to it. With an RPI sized unit.
