Sustaining a Cymbal in Hydrogen
Im using Hydrogen and would like a sustained cymbal rattle to go for more than one beat. Seems like when you stretch it, it just repeats. Anyway around that? I am playing alternative rock and when there are silent portions I want that rattle you know.

It depends on the length of the used sample in the kit
those included drumkits aren't very good
I just tested it and those 3 drumkits have long samples (not faded out):
RedRokkit
NS_kit7free
BigMono
on the other hand you could try some reverb or delay effect or something like that.

Or stretch it, Hydrogen uses Rubberband for this which works quite well.

When I stretch it just repeats, I want to sustain it through more than 1 beat. Is there something I'm missing? Where can I download those kits? Looking for a good jazz like Dave Matthews drummer kit.

If you can use something other than Hydrogen for this I think petri-foo will let you set up loop points within a sample.

Or search the net for a better sample. The included kits are just a starting point. Cymbals in general are tricky to get agood natural sound out of samples, since you almost never strike it the same way twice.
