[SOLVED]FCA202 no longer seen in Qjackctl

Dear All,

Recently I posted the topic "Behringer xenyx x1622USB with FCA202 success" . A couple of days ago I did an upgrade with my Bodhi distro which brought it to 1.4. Since then my fca202 is no longer recognized in Qjackctl. I do not know what has changed to make this happen. The upgrade did it I am sure. Any help to get this going again will be greatly appreciated.

Hello all,

This is an update. I think I changed things somehow when I was trying to get my hdmi sound from my computer soundcard to work out of my Philips hdtv speakers. That has not been accomplished yet.

However, I found out that in qjackctl, system capture _1 and capture_2 show up in the output Ports and system playback_1 and_2 are on the right side under input Ports. When I connect both sides then all the sound is piped through my firewire and mixer as I wished. Previously it showed up as firewire not system. I do not know how that changed.

I am happy that it works now.

QjackCtl - Setup - Display - JACK client/port aliases. Default shows system_xxx, 2 shows firewire_xxx iirc, also depends on your JACK version.
