Anyone ,managed to make Blackhole plugin work with WINE-11 Mint 22.3 Cinnamon ?

I am trying not to waste money spent on this beautiful simple plug-in.

I had it working on Mint 22.1 and 22.2 in the usual WINE-9.21, then I had to do a re-install later on and Blackhole became a Black Window!

Then I re-installed Linux - I had Linux Mint on trial on my PC.

Upgraded to 22.3 still with WINE-9.21 and re-installed Blackhole problem came up, then upgraded to WINE-11-stable.
I have most plug-in working-ish with the usual having to move some of the plug-ins pop-up window onto main screen top left to get almost correct clicking-matrix. Have problem on external screen - but that is fine.

Standalone 'all' work fine and yes I do have other Reverb/Echo plug-ins, but I would like this to work.

Can anyone help to make Blackhole by Eventide work in WINE11-stable?
I do have DOTNET40, vkd3d, dxvk (D3V9/10/11)

At least I can use it if I right click top left I get the full preset lists, including mine and chose.
Also in Bitwig the parameter are within the device tabs at bottom - I know, better than nothing.

I’ve never used this plugin, but what you describe sounds like the JUCE8 issue so I would try an older version of the plugin (some people will email their manufacturer to get one if it’s not listed on the site). Something from 2024 or earlier probably won’t be JUCE8 yet.

Yes it is, as far as I found out - then I think I did reach the guys that said they used Juce 8 which Linux do not agree with... at present... not sure.

I actually created a jpeg image of the main pop-up and I found where to click to get the drop down... and even save preset.

I mean blind clicking!

Thank you, but... apart that I actually paid for it, I do have others already - including Bitwig's own.

I was just trying to use what I paid for and not used much until now.

Just use an older version of the plugin. Works fine for me on wine 9.21.
