Tuxguitar running slow after a while (+workaround)

Hi everyone,

So this past year I've been running MX, mostly using Tuxguitar for writing compositions and I'm glad to say that my creativity is flowing again.
I haven't felt this invested and driven in writing in a LONG time.

I do run into one snag that I remember being present the last time I was using Tuxguitar and that is that it becomes very slow and unresponsive once your composition takes on some size.

My highly uneducated guess is that it keeps track of every edit and that once the list becomes too long, adding unto that list takes some moving in the memory.

My workaround is to copy all the tracks into a new file and work from there, that seems to solve the problem for a while.
I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination but maybe a couple of years down the line I might try and give a shot at figuring out a way to refresh the edit history (if that's a thing, again, I'm just speculating)
