Hi,
I’m not sure if I’m posting in the right forum, but I’m running into an issue that I can’t seem to solve.
I’m running SuperCollider on a Raspberry Pi 4B with Debian 13 and a Pisound Micro.
I’m desperately trying to change the block size (or buffer size) in SuperCollider, but no matter what I try, nothing works.
Normally, SuperCollider uses JACK, but changing the block size in JACK seems to be ignored. I believe this is because PipeWire is taking over JACK.
PipeWire appears to be extremely stubborn when it comes to changing the block size, it always stays at 64, which is too low for my project.
No matter what I try, I’m not able to change the block size used by SuperCollider.
I’m by no means a Linux expert, and I’m already confused about why PipeWire is taking over JACK and why it’s so difficult to change something as simple as the block or buffer size.
If anyone knows a solution, I would be very happy, I’m running out of ideas.

Re: pipewire jackd and supercollider
I know nearly nothing about that, but I remembered, that user 'Largos' has posted about changing buffer size in pipewire:
