IK's ToneX Plug editor from playstore to Samsung tablet
A playstore search found 'Tone Control', IK Multimedia's android editor for tablets and phones (and ios gizmos). It installed the app, which is patiently waiting for Fed-Ex to deliver the ToneX Plug hardware.

Re: IK's ToneX Plug editor from playstore to Samsung tablet
A little update...not having a ton of bluetooth gear, I didn't realize the pairing process might require allowing the 'precise location' setting. Well implied by needing the device close by the gear to be paired with...but slow to sink in my cranium. The ToneX Plug would not connect to the editor software without that precise setting.
Using the app itself on the tablet is very nice, easy to move the controls, not much rocket-science required, and a handy manual is helpful.
The sounds are as expected

Re: IK's ToneX Plug editor from playstore to Samsung tablet
A couple weeks with the ToneX Plug, and I'm very happy with it. Modified a few sounds, and appreciating the potential for more from learning the app's contents, and some capture packs.
Being in tight spaces, and trending clumsy/forgetful with age, I made a short cable, right-angle out of the guitar to a female jack strapped to the horn on the high-E edge of my practice beater. It's easy to access the buttons for sound selection and volume, and little chance of snagging the now flat guitar cable connection. Peace is good. Sound is good. Making cables is good.
Now it's time to make practice good
