Long time Dead fan here. He wrote one of my favourite songs, "Box Of Rain" which was inspired by the death of his father. I'll play it now in tribute. RIP Phil.

Met a nice young lady today named Althea. I said, that's a very cool name. She said 'my parents were diehard Dead fans, and that's where they picked out the name'. Being clueless about most bands, I did a quick search, and found this:
