Ok, I see they were posted by a moderator. It still seems sketchy to me that they're using Google Drive when I'm sure NI have plenty of their own servers.

For the portable version, search bobdule kontakt 8 portable on the web.
As for adding libraries, there is a built-in button "library manager". Navigate your parent folder where all the libraries are installed. That's all.
Consider this for educational purpose only

I spent some time last week, weeding and sorting, and found I had an old version of the IK Multimedia 'Product Manager' tool. So I logged in to my IK account, downloaded and installed the latest version, and successfully authorized the Syntronik 2, Amplitube, and MixBox plugins that were part of that system.
IK have a lot of Orchestral sounds, and their Miroslav Philharmonik 2 collection is often part of their (at times) crazy sale extravaganzas. The Miroslav sounds can be used in their SampleTank 4 instrument, for 16 part layers, if desired. Using their sounds with T-Racks and MixBox effects makes for a good set of options.

I've read a few people mention yabridge, which I didn't know about. How does it compare to LinVST when it comes to bridging Windows VSTs on Linux? LinVST is the one I've been using so far and it seems to be working fine, as I can use most VSTs I use in Carla, Ardour or others. That definitely worked for me for the BBCSO and LABS VSTs by Spitfire Audio, which are the Windows VSTs I tend to use the most. For performance reasons, though, I tend to host Windows VSTs externally (usually in Carla), rather than in the DAW, and just render audio in the DAW instead any time I need it.

For me IK installer works fine. However, stability of plugins is not optimal. For Philharmonik 2 plugin even refuses to start, and same goes even with standalone app, saying it can't load 'Philharmonik 2.vpa'. Sampletank plugin loads, but is it crashy. In Mixbus, loading it directly it was not usable at all, running it with carla plugin makes it usable. In Bitwig Sampletank works, but crashes often. Not sure if stand-alone Sampletank works without problems.
