I've just used WINE 10.3 (standard version) and everything is working pretty well as far as I can tell which includes Voxengo SPAN. I don't run it through any kind of bridge though but instead with FL Studio so I'm not sure how relevant this is to you guys..

Hi,

I'm not sure how to interpret this or if anything relevant to our Plugin issue is here:

https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/commits/wine-10.3

Perhaps @robbert-vdh could chime in?

I too have some issues with 10.3 staging on Ubuntu 24.04. Will try to downgrade, however not sure -- should I downgrade to noble or to jammy (as RikB here did)?

[edit] Did downgrade to noble, some issues solved

Reaper, Bespoke Synth, assorted plugins

Does drag'n'drop to-from plugins work in linvst?

Thanks, that worked perfectly for me too. The mouse pointer wasn't aligned with the actual position on the canvas of the vst plugin where you actually clicked.

I did have to change to jammy:

Code: Select all

sudo apt install winehq-staging=9.21~jammy-1 wine-staging=9.21~jammy-1 wine-staging-i386=9.21~jammy-1 wine-staging-amd64=9.21~jammy-1
sudo apt-mark hold wine-staging

This worked for me!
