Yep, someone have upload a soundfont and marked it as guitarix preset, that disturbed the parser. I've fixed the parser to handle that since some time, but it's only available in the git version. So to get it working one must build guitarix from source.

Latest guitarix.vst3 version have the fix as well, but that have currently a other issue.

On the road again.

The online presets work with the VST version. What other problem do you mean?

There was a issue with guitarix.vst v0.4 in Reaper, when multiple instances was set offline at once, it crashed.
That is fixed now in the v0.5 release.
So currently, there is no issue any more that I'm aware.

On the road again.

I had some crashes yesterday while playing only with Reaper, Guitarix and Amp Locker. Don´t know if this can be caused by Guitarix of if there´s another problem somewhere.

I´ll do some more tests during the weekend.

As said, I get reports from other Reaper users reporting crashes, and they confirm that it is fixed for them now.
In my tests it works all fine as well, but still there may be circumstances which leads to issues with guitarix as plugin.
Just make sure you use the latest release before doing more tests.

I built it from source from here: https://github.com/brummer10/guitarix.v ... s/tag/v0.5

In the plugin info it still says it' s 0.4. I guess that's just not updated, right?

Ups, yes, I've forgotten to update the version number in the makefile. Hopefully I didn't forget it on the next release. :(

Sometimes the GUI of Guitarix hangs in Reaper. Last time it says "window does not react" or something like that and Reaper crashed. Now again it didn't react, but it's workling again without crashing Reaper. Will keep an yes on it.
