That's a bargain! I'm a long-time user of Mixbus, the best DAW for mixing IMO (still getting there for MIDI but OK for basic stuff). I even upgraded to Mixbus 32C a couple of versions ago.

It feels like it's at least 50% of the time on sale. That might be the lowest I've seen it go for though.

I honestly wouldn't buy the full price for anything Harrison has done, the sales are so frequent that you really just need to wait for the next sale to begin.

Not an unreasonable price even at full retail. This is an exceptional price for the product should it be something you need.

Bit thinking if I should take it. I have most of the XT plugins, and have v7, but this would be $20 extra over upgrade, and get rest of the XT plugins.

What a great deal! I've spent hundreds on XT plugins and no regrets, they are excellent. This is less than some of the plugins by themselves so a no-brainer even if you use MB 32C rather than standard MB.

Yes there are some major changes and new features in MB32C v9, I may even upgrade from v7. v8 didn't have much to entice me from v7.

I haven't seen an "on sale" announcement though, as per this topic's title.
Upgrade from earlier versions is $US79.

Mixbus 10 for $15. I think haven't seen that cheap before. And Mixbus 10 is actually that 32C version which used to cost more.
Sure they will soon release new version, and update costs most likely $29, but getting update is fully optional, licenses are perpetual.

I see on that same page Mixbus Pro is on sale for $129.99. That's insanely good value as it includes all XT plugins and has SSL9000 EQ and Atmos. Usually $499.99. (and why do so many places add x.99? Everyone knows $499.99 is 500 bucks! )

Yes they both do. The SSL9000 is an alternative EQ in the channel strip rather than a separate plugin. I upgraded my MB 32C v.9 to MB Pro v.10 several months ago and like it a lot.
There's an introduction video on the page you linked. Downloads can be used in demo mode until you get a licence; they are fully functional apart from having a short burst of noise injected periodically.
