Re: Mixbus10 100% CPU issues
The DSP usage shown in Mixbus/Ardour is not the same as CPU usage. Robin Gareus explains it well in this post - https://discourse.ardour.org/t/ardour-m ... t/104460/2
They’re two different things.
in short DSP load is
“The time it takes to process a part of audio incl playback” vs. “duration of the part of audio”.
Read the whole thread, it may give you some ideas.

Re: Mixbus10 100% CPU issues
Thanks and yes I do know that they're separate but on the conky CPU monitoring that goes completely white on all eight cores and as soon as I terminate MB10 call me you see that reading dropped to like 1% so if CPU usage and DSP usage are not the same thing then what the heck is happening with mine when it's telling me DSP and CPU are the same except what comes out of H-Top?
I think that's why I studied network engineering and taught myself how to build computers because getting into the theory of DSP and CPU and so on still confuses the living daylight side of me

Re: Mixbus10 100% CPU issues
I think it does 99.9% of everything that Ardour does unless you mean running it in debug mode and for some reason I can't figure that one out even though I've looked for it.
