Yep! It's a beautiful thing! I've been waiting for years for them to finish. We are finally at the end! A 20+ year drive coming true!!

I can't give numbers - but my workhorse, an Optiplex (viewtopic.php?p=159388), really benefits from a realtime kernel. The more modern computers i have do great work concerning audio with standard non-rt kernels. So on older machines the way i would go for was rt.
It was a long way from beginning rt-kernel up to now. No more patching and fiddling with setrlimits...
