Geekos DAW (libre music-making repository for openSUSE)

What other apps and distros do you use to round out your studio?

I am not entirely sure, I think I installed a package from a proaudio webpage. (ymp file)

Only later found out I could have added the pattern in YAST. :oops:

When I got it fixed, I was asked to inform you guys.

You may alert the GeekosDAW folks about this problem, since it stems from the multimedia_proaudio.repo file they included in their repository and that is used by zypper/YaST2Software to automatically setup the repo. That file reads:

[multimedia_proaudio] <<<<<<<<<<<<<
name=Geekos DAW (openSUSE_Tumbleweed)

No need to read the entire topic, you can start with the reply I quoted. :)

Ok, it seems so.

We considering to remove this script from the repo. While it's just a simple zypper dup runner, it's better to control your system updates manually.

I installed TW and GeekOS repo recently. The script didn't work so I had to add the repo manually.
To update the package database:

Code: Select all

sudo zypper refresh
