Hey hey, It's been ages, but I have been busy, partially still reinventing myself due to software issues that may not be solved.
That aside here's the song: Wildfire (headphones recommended, but not required):

Emotionally: I just had a time of frustration, sadness and storming against the world. If you'd prefer the a more technical and compositional description: this piece explores polymetric episodes and signature changes. Harmonically, the composition explores the whole tone and whole-step-half-step scales, interspersed with completely chromatic accents.
The sound and synthesis behind it: This piece uses Csound exclusively to create and process the sounds. I have created a few very playable instruments: a kind of piano, something like a guitar, my handpan instrument, a type of drum, like a djembe, a marimba'esque instrument and my approximation of an array Mbira. The composition is realised in a MIDI sequencer, then rendered in Csound, processed through binaural spatialisation and, as a final touch, I have added a few incidental sounds to lend more realism to the performance. There is very soft movement of the players and some creeking of the room. It's very subtle and these sounds are based on recordings I did myself.
I hope that you can enjoy it, with or without headphones.
Best wishes, Jeanette

Bootstrapping something like this like a mad scientist is fascinating and (maybe because) somewhat frightening to me.
Don't know nothing about compositional structures. But the atmospheric texture of the "analog? digital? you wouldn't know" path evoked associations between the Liquid Sky Soundtrack and Camille Emailles impossible sound scapes.
You got me.

This has a blend of lighthearted intrigue with some dramatic content. I suspect it succeeds at your intentions, bearing a completeness. If you have a troup of actors or some media creators in your circle of friends, or local area, I bet they could collaborate and make some cool performances.
Much respect for your creations!
As a sidenote, I saw that the 'Airwindows Consolidated' plugin that colates and describes the many AirWindows linux vst effects has screen-reader support. Might be worth checking out. It was coded by a leading member of the 'Surge' synth team, aka baconpaul.
Cheers
