Coders: a project on Github needs help

There's a reverb project on GitHub, and the maintainer is having trouble finding a bug. I know I know, what project on GitHub doesn't need help... Anyway, the dev says:

"I just recently made an attempt to fix the overflowing feedback buffer but haven't had much success yet (it's in the feedback-fix branch). This would definitely be easier if someone with more juce debugging experience than me could contribute."

I know nothing about juice, and close to nothing about coding. Just thought I'd post this here in case someone wants to help.

So what the issue is?

In some DAWs, it will cause a crash when looping is enabled.
It happens with me in Ubuntu/Reaper.

I’m curious to learn. What specific challenges are you facing with the feedback buffer?
