Andertons guys review the latest tiny powerhouse, a big improvement on an already quality product.
It also bundles some version of Presonus Studio One, which may be interesting in the future.

I have the OG Micro and it's pretty handy for working on tunes. When I saw the Micro Plus, it immediately went on my want list.

The original one works fine for me with Linux - its just class compliant USB. Was a bit nervous that the new one might need the iOS app to operate it :( but it seems that's not essential (thankfully). Quite an impressive little thing, not as good as a genuine tube amp, but at least the neighbours won't want to kill you :)

I don't think I'd want that hanging out the jack socket like that, looks like something I'd break.

I have a similar device (older but good Nux Mighty Plug II) and use a short cable with a 90 degree connector on one end, and some tape, to mount it temporarily on the surface of a guitar. The controls are also easier to reach that way. When in the guitar jack, it both can swivel and change angle, so it moves pretty well to absorb bumps, so that hasn't been a problem, despite my clumsiness and tight quarters... :(

I have an audio line-in female connector mounted on the wall, (connected to my Alesis rompler-synth output), acting like a holster, and it rests in that, an easy push to get things started, with a default preset (pingpong delay, tremolo, crunch-chorus, reverb) that sounds fine with vibes, EPs, guitars, drums. The wall mount position allows usb connection for power, so re-charging is minimal.

People suspect the amp-models in the new micro-plus may be from the recent Tonemaster Pro hardware device, but I have not read that from a Fender rep yet, aka 'stilwel' in this forum topic:
