Komplete 15 standard coming maybe October-November 2024

Post by glowrak guy »

I'm not recommending this to those who have never installed Native Instruments products in wine, and for those of us who have, I'll guess it's gonna be a longshot that it works with the older legacy version of Native Access 1.14, but I have family members who could use it, if it's a bust in my linux setups.

Beyond Komplete 13, the highlights will include
Kontakt 8 with new composing capabilities and a hybrid synth/effects wavetable instrument. (maybe an improved browser gui? (Kontakt 7 was not beloved)
Maybe 2K of Massive X sounds from banks released since K13
Guitar Rig 7 Pro with 100+ new rack presets (it already had a lot preset setups, and they handy to learn from, if one has little/no hardware experience!...like me )
Izotope Ozone 11 Standard
A dozen diverse sound libs, and a bunch of "Play Series" instruments from Komplete 14 (good for quick A/B mix-n-match layering of their sounds)
Izotope Neutron 4 mixing suite IF you pre-order before September 30th

I suspect more will be added after NI beancounters have read a few hundred critiques of what's on offer. I might have updated to K14 had Guitar Rig 7 been included, so glad I skipped a version. But might have to sell something to cover the upgrade price :|

There are 14 NI products for a burger-money $19 each at several locations, the original Massive included, and it's likely to still work with the legacy Native Access, (barring some ISP nonsense intervening)

I just noticed that Native Instruments Analog Dreams, and Ethereal Earth play series instruments are free downloads if you install NI's
free 'Komplete Start' offering. Here's a 30 minute video that goes through the Komplete Start install process, sounds/libs access, and he plays
sounds as he goes (there are 4 second ads periodically)
