undo report post

There's a way to unthank, but not unreport, a post. I've unfairly reported a post but cannot undo this...

Can you edit your report after the fact, for example "withdrawn"?
Of course, it would also be very useful for the creator to be able to delete the report.

That's standard for phpBB afaik. I guess the correct course of action would be to PM the admins.

Which post did you report?

"To impost": reporting a post and then coming back with excuses ;)
