DiY clonewheel with Pd/setBfree/RPi

Post by J_Good »

Hi there,

I've made a presentation of myself in the Welcome section, but perhaps a post in this one would not be too redundant.
I'm currently building an Hammond organ clone with :

  • two Alesis V61 keyboards ;
  • one (soon two) Crumar D9U drawbars sets (DiY kit)
  • Raspberry Pi running Pure Data and setBfree
  • Presonus Audiobox USB soundcard
  • old entry level Samson monitoring speakers

Pd is used to correct a bug of the Alesis keyboards, save/recall the drawbars settings, and presets. It also allows to reboot or poweroff the Pi with the Pitch Bend wheel.
Picture of the current state of the project here
Works like a charm despite its "roots" appearance !

History and more informations (in french) here.

Cheers, Jacques from Paris.
