Tuxguitar can play tabs. Just set its volume to zero/mute/route it so that it is not audible?

I'm searching and the possibilities are limited. I found 3 applications (focus on Christians churches), they are "presenters" (I think that is them generic name):
I can't test all them yet, but read some documentation and OpenLP maybe has the scroll feature.
